After years of playing in the Middle East and Asia, Elyse moved to the Netherlands two years ago. Elyse plays saxophone, woodwinds and piano and has a B2 level in Dutch. She has years of experience teaching music, from teaching early music lessons to young children to advanced music theory classes and tutoring for adults. She studied at Duquesne University’s School of Music with renowned teachers including trumpet player, Sean Jones. She has also studied jazz with Carnegie Mellon University’s Eric Defade, and famous jazz educator, Jerry Bergonzi.
